The laughter and clutter of the children at Kibera Kidogo Camp was contagious. They were so full of life and bubbly.
We had a devotion and singing sessions before embarking on an exciting day. The children got to paint lovely pictorials in groups, as the emphasis of the day was teamwork. They had a field day after, and all made sure everyone participated and got a share of the fun.
For their awesome camp memorabilia we had them create a colourful hand print. It was a sea of little red and blue hands.
Their work is that of imagination and dreams brought to life. It was extremely heavy that the camp was almost coming to a close. The smiles, the laughter, the little cries when they had small fights, their prayer (it was superb, and was done like a song), the high-five taps, and hugs will all be missed once camp is over.
